Mr. McFarlane's CV

Bruce McFarlane’s entire professional career has been devoted to the study and measurement of the financial impact associated with alleged wrongful conduct.

Since the start of his professional career in 1985, he’s provided testimony or consultations in over 200 engagements on a broad array of accounting, financial, and economic issues. These include matters involving allegations of alter ego, antitrust, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, Lanham Act violations, lender liability, patent infringement, securities laws violations, trade secret misappropriation, trademark infringement and unfair competition.

He’s provided damages analyses on projects covering industries such as semiconductor, computer hardware, consumer electronics, medical devices, networking, stored value and payment card networks, software, pharmaceutical, biotech, banking, healthcare, insurance, construction, real estate, aviation, restaurant, distribution, retail, internet, auto dealer, telecommunications, gaming, footwear, exercise equipment, and manufacturing.

In 1999, Mr. McFarlane co-founded the Silicon Valley office of InteCap, a national intellectual property consulting firm that’s become part of CRA International. Since then, he’s focused primarily on damages analyses related to intellectual property, and principally disputes involving allegations of patent infringement. After spending a year sabbatical abroad, he returned to the U.S. and founded LitiNomics in 2006. He’s testified, written, and presented on the topic of damages analyses.

Mr. McFarlane is a Certified Management Accountant.
